FUCK YOU in pratice

I have started to apply the word fuck you or a slightly different start point to the original manifesto that I made in order to see whether, it is worth carrying on with the idea or whether i will have to change the concept completely. I still believe that it will be useful to categorize the different starting points of the manifesto to make it a lot more easily readable and would get the point across in a more dramatic way. 

In addition to this i also felt that a colour coding system could possibly work but use it in a more personal possibly in a three tier system from the colours I like to ones that I am not to bothered about which will not be as easy to recognize as the danger warning systems but are more personal.

I still however need to revisit my manifesto after this example and look at possibly wording changes and whether their is other stuff that could be included

FUCK IT I may go off on a tangent but it is my tangent to explore.

FUCK IT Apple is not the god of graphic design

FUCK YOU I am not going to stick to one creative practice or style  

FUCK IT I am going to make mistakes, but the mistakes are always remembered by other people

FUCK IT Stupid thoughts lead to creative exploration

FUCK YOU Helvetica is not the be all and end all

FUCK YOU I am never going to know every typeface of by heart and I am not going to try

FUCK IT If there’s no emotion or drive don’t do it otherwise it’s just a waste of time

FUCK YOU It is better to have 1,000 ideas than none

FUCK IT If you know what the outcome is going to be there is no point because art is a journey

FUCK YOU If you don’t have a valid opinion that is well thought out there is no point in adding it in to a piece of design

FUCK YOU Everything is a development

FUCK IT Never achieve perfection

FUCK IT No one is going to die it is not life of death

FUCK IT Inspiration won’t hit you as hard unless you are open to it

FUCK YOU If you are going to be anti anything makes sure it lasts or you will look stupid

FUCK YOU Not doing corporate work does not make you a better person

FUCK IT You will never be completely finished just finished enough to please people and move on

FUCK IT If someone starts killing themselves because of you (e.g smoking, not suicide) then they was probably going to do it anyway

FUCK YOU Try to take inspiration from everything but don’t pretend to be inspired when you’re not your going to fall on your face

FUCKING Don’t try to act smarter than is possible to get the work done everyone is human

FUCK You can always leave

after that initial test of using the work fuck and a another word to accompany it I believe that in some cases it works whilst in others the grammatical error seems to make the point less strong even though I do believe that spelling something wrong can lead to a piece of design being more memorable however in this case it does not work and would  make the reader stumble, which like in a speech there should be a flow and rhythm to a manifesto so that people go in a trance like state and are totally focused on the speaker which is what great politicians do. 

I therefore plan to rework my manifesto and the wording within it and possibly add some different point to give the work flow and look for possible categories that the points can be made it and in this look at possibly using a title to make the piece more dramatic rather than titling it something like Jacks manifesto
