Good design comes from experience
I may go off on a tangent but it is my tangent to explore.
Apple is not the god of graphic design
I am not going to stick to one creative practice or style
I am going to make mistakes, but the mistakes are always
remembered by other people
Stupid thoughts lead to creative exploration
Helvetica is not the be all and end all
I am never going to know every typeface of by heart and I am
not going to try
If there’s no emotion or drive don’t do it otherwise it’s
just a waste of time
It is better to have 1,000 ideas than none
If you know what the outcome is going to be there is no
point because art is a journey
If you don’t have a valid opinion that is well thought out
there is no point in adding it in to a piece of design
Everything is a development
Never achieve perfection
No one is going to die it is not life of death
Inspiration won’t hit you as hard unless you are open to it
If you are going to be anti anything makes sure it lasts or
you will look stupid
Not doing corporate work does not make you a better person
You will never be completely finished just finished enough to
please people and move on
If someone starts killing themselves because of you (e.g
smoking, not suicide) then they was probably going to do it anyway
Try to take inspiration from everything but don’t pretend to
be inspired when you’re not your going to fall on your face
Don’t try to act smarter than is possible to get the work
done everyone is human
You can always leave
From looking through different design manifestos that I have researched from different time periods in design not only, in that of graphic design but also that of interior and fashion design, I then chose to see the thing that I felt were relevant for me but also the style of writing that appealed to me. I believe that a manifesto even though a public declaration it is more in tune with one individual person and their ideas and attitudes. So therefore, I wanted my manifesto to exemplify this and be something that is personal.
I chose to a type of bullet point system due I feel that when reading the manifestos that the short bullet points made a better impact and therefore would attract a wider audience rather than in a essay format.
A key inspiration in the inital draft of my manifesto was the riot Grrrl manifesto by Kathleen Hanna, due to the use of begining of every sentence with 'because' not only made a dramatic impact but however made it easily readable.

This is only the intial draft of the manifesto and other points maybe be taken away of added, but I feel I have a idea on how it will be developed and a idea of possible outcome(s)
